Student-Centered
Interactive gamified assessments measure each student’s Proximal Area of Development in arithmetic, reading, writing, and reasoning, then tailor each learning adventure to the individual student’s maximal learning capacity. Enrollment policies ensure small class sizes that can easily accommodate individualized instruction. Our mastery-based curriculum also ensures that students master their learning adventure objectives.
Hands-On
Imagine your child coming home with stories of their latest learning adventure, eager to share the latest project that captivated their interest. Our students are not encouraged to be passive listeners. Our curriculum is designed to teach all academics through active engagement. There is a story behind everything they learn, encouraging creative students to scaffold knowledge and internalize information in a way that does away with the need for rote memorization of facts. Our students understand why and how.
Community Stewardship
Our high-level social-emotional focus is integrated into the fabric of our classes. Daily goal statements, Inspirational videos, and social-emotional explorations open the world of growth mindset, goal-setting, problem-solving, and critical thinking. Students learn boundaries free of conformity-based expectations, allowing them greater mental and emotional energy to focus on discovering who they are and how they want to make their mark in the community and world.
